EXPERIENCE

My initial degree was in the Social Sciences and I have worked in Education. After an intensive training I have been, for many years, in full-time private practice as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist.

I am a member of the London Centre for Psychotherapy (LCP) registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I have been a tutor for a Westminster Pastoral Foundation (wpf) Certificate in Counselling Skills and a tutor for several LCP Foundation Courses.

I have served on various committees for the LCP, where I shall be Chair in 2011, as well as for the BPC.

I have an interest in Attachment Theory and have contributed a chapter to “Attachment Theory and the Psychoanalytic Process (Eds. Cortina, M. and Marrone, M)" Whurr 2003.

SUPERVISION

I am a member of The British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision and have a Diploma in Supervision. I work as a supervisor for counsellors and intake workers for a wpf affiliate. I also offer private supervision for experienced counsellors/psychotherapists or those in training.
